Philanthropy

Burrito Libre has partnered with the Salvation Army, The University of Alberta Food Bank and various other charities over the past 4 years. We sponsor various events such as sporting tournaments, hospital functions and of course, FREE BURRITO DAYS! We continue to host multiple Free Burrito Days annually where each customer receives a FREE large, burrito, bowl or salad when they bring in any non-perishable food item or minimum cash donation of $1 for our partnered charity. These days are run on the honour system and they continue to be a hugely successful way of raising money for those less fortunate. To date, we have given away 12,304 free large burritos, and have raised over 25,000 items of food and over $7,040 in cash for various charities.
